A young boy is upset over his father's death. He embarks on a journey with his uncle. On the way back home, the boy wishes to explore the area where his father was found dead. He sneaks off on his own as his uncle sleeps, and encounters a snow leopard. The boy is able to defeat the snow leopard, his uncle finds him just after, and they return home. He has a new-found peace about his father's absence.

The book would be good in reference to discussing the death of parents. ( )
