This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.
Reading 'Machines' means spending a lot of time with Mink Jolle, the 'metal guy'. The Sci-Fi-novel is plotted in the state of 'Freelandia' where Mink tries to avenge his friend.

Not wanting to go deeper into the story at least I have to stress the ability of the author to form a strong character: whatever you'll think about the story itself - it's fantastic to go along with Mink for a while.

So, great job. Four stars! ( )
