It was an interesting collection of princess stories. There were tales I enjoyed more then others, but ultimately none were stories I would have shared with my daughter. If she asked I would read the tales to her, but I probably wouldn't have picked it, to read it to her on my own. It just didn't co nect. ( )

Love reading the book especially about a cute dragon in the pocket. ( )

This was a fun collection of stories about princesses that weren't your typical damsels in distress. I was surprised to see that it was long stories, not short stories, but that allowed the authors to build their character depth. Overall, this anthology was a good read and I will enjoy going back to my favorite stories time and time again. ( )

I was interested to see a 21st century take on the princess story - hopefully a more progressive than the fallen woman or the damsel in distress. I was proud to see most of these stories had strong, smart young women independently taking on the various trials and tribulations the authors threw at their protagonists. I found that like most anthologies, there were stories that were better than others, but overall I thought it was great to see a new fairy tale. ( )
