Not too bad, but very melodramatic and over the top. Can see the end a million miles away. Pretty much wanted to smack Scarlett in the first few pages; she's SO self-involved it's ridiculous.

I wouldn't mind recommending this to kids for a paperback buy/library read, but it's definitely junk food for the brain. ( )

What a great little story! I love Scarlett as a character. Terrific for Lit Circles. ( )

I loved this little coming of age novel. I wish it were appropriate for school. Scarlett is a beautifully complex 12 year old. A perfect portrait of what adolescence is all about. A child trapped in a body that's speeding towards adulthood. My one complaint was the appearance of Scarlett's mother at the end, that seemed far too sweet to be believable. ( )

A warm-hearted, coming of age story about a girl struggling with her family's break-up. Many young people, whose parents have divorced, will identify with the anger and emotions that Scarlett is feeling. ( )

Loved this books shows all about Scarlett’s family problems and troubles though the Scarlett’s mother was acting a little bit too nice and sweet and its was kind of a predictable ending though still a good read
