"Ghosts and Garlands: A Charmed & Dangerous Short Story," by Morgan Vale is a sweet Christmas story of how a small town can come together to help one another. One night Pepper and her friend Kat ( who is also a witch) hear a noise in the basement. Upon arrival they come across a female ghost. The ghost is that of one of town's founders, Amelia Haven. Amelia said that after Alan McDaniel had visited her about giving his family a Christmas to remember. The only problem is that Alan's wife Ruby is sickened with grief from his passing. Pepper and Kat enlist their friend and Ruby's son Will, as well as the town to help Ruby continue on with Christmas traditions and the possibility of making new ones. (

The perfect introduction to what looks to be a great series.

This novella does a wonderful job at introducing the main characters and the town in an heartwarming manner. Loved Albus, I can already tell the sass of that cat is going to be fun.

You'll love this book if you want to give the series a try before committing to the a full book.
If you love magic, ghosts and cheer your friends up, this will give you the warm and fuzzies.
