This book was such a good read that follows two people with broken pasts trying to move forward but it takes the both together to help each other out. Juliana had a traumatic event affect her life and she is lost trying to move forward but finds it almost impossible to do that. She is surrounded by amazing friends and coworkers, but she is over doing it and doesn’t know how to just be and relax, until she meets Harrison. Harrison is a superhot former football player who is a little older and some ways wiser than most, he knows what he wants, and he doesn’t hesitate to go after it. These two have many reasons why they shouldn’t be together and for the sake of Juliana’s career they try hard to fight their attraction, especially since she is hired to plan Harrison’s daughter’s wedding. Their attraction is so tangible you can feel it every time they are together, but as Harrison tells her he doesn’t want to compete and come second to anyone and when she is ready to move forward he will be waiting, but these two have so much heartache that their walls are almost impenetrable. Can they let go of past hurts and move forward or will their pasts keep them from exploring more and trying to find happiness? ( )

This book felt a little different than the previous books. I can be read as a standalone but I think you'd miss why these friends are important secondary characters. Enjoyable stories, friends,chemistry, and great steamy times made this book enjoyable. ( )
