Wonderful poems for bedtime with charming and accurate illustrations of wildlife done in color pencil. Each poem tells about the ways that different animals find cover and shelter to sleep at night, as if a child is conversing with it on the verge of sleep. Each poem begins and ends with repeated words and phrases to encourage comprehension, to help children learn to read, and to help children relate words and concepts with images of animals.
