This is my first book by Brett Battles. He's a good writer if you like his stories.

This is a Mission Impossible/James Bond style thriller. The characters have really cool gadgets and are quicker, with a gun, then the bad guys. There are some women agents to throw in some sexual tension, and kiss their kids goodnight before inventing high tech or killing bad guys or both. The characters make some illogical decisions and the clever local police are all easily fooled. Did not finish.

I much prefer John D. McDonald, Lee Child, Ken Follett, Vince Flynn, Nelson DeMille and Daniel Silva novels. ( )
