This book is filled with facts about Octopuses. And is super informative to what they do as animals. I would use this in first or second grade just because I think that is when kids are developing their sense of what they like to read and how long they will give something the time of day. Along with that I would just have it on the shelves so even if they aren't wanting to read it they are able to look at the pretty pictures.

This book is great for 4-5th graders because it is a little more advanced of a picture book. This book is laid out kind of like a textbook, it is very informational and shows diagrams and pictures to go along with text that include facts and different information all about octopuses. This could be used in a class to learn about animals and sea life. Because of its textbook feel it could also get students comfortable with more texts like this and be able to jump up to more advanced readings. ( )

This book would be good for primary and intermediate ages. This book is about everything you need to know about octopuses. It talks about all the different species and their features. This would be great in the classroom for students to explore more about octopuses and the different types of species. ( )
