I didn't read the book pictured, the book that I read was Hansel and Gretel by the Grimm brothers. Hansel and Gretel is a story that everyone grew up listening to. The story that I was told as a child ended with the witch being burned in the oven, I liked that this book ended with the kids reuniting with their father, without their horrible mother, and living happily ever after. I'm shocked that it ended in that way because I know that the Grimm brothers are notorious for being gruesome. ( )
