I enjoyed reading "Will You Be My Friend". It reminded me of "Each Kindness" in several ways. For example, in Each Kindness, the little girl wanted a friend and tried to reach out to her peers-even though no one wanted to be her friend. In this book, the two animals wanted to be friends but they were both skeptical about being the first to approach the other. In this book, the bird and bunny end up being friends but it teaches kindness and treating others how one would want to be treated. ( )

This book taught a great lesson in friendship. The book states that it does not matter if you look different, you can still be friends. Also, if someone is in need, you can always call on a friend and they will help you in any way they can. I really enjoyed this book because it shows students that it is fine to be friends with everyone. ( )

A cute little story about a shy bird and a friendly bunny bonding during a rainstorm. They're able to work together with a couple of other animals to build a new nest for the bird. Working together on this helps them all to become friends. I enjoyed the story and thought the illustrations were very inviting as well. ( )

i like the book, but it is a little lackluster for storytime. however the children sat pretty well for it, so i'd definitely use it again ( )

This book can show children that they should not be shy like the bird, and always do the best thing like the bunny. The bird and bunny become good friends and even find some other new friends! ( )
