How can a ton of drawings, including buildings, cats, flowers, rocking chairs, steps, stick figures and everything else between come from a kid just simply making a line? Well apparently it can happen. This is just a easy read about a little boy who starts out making a line and ends up drawing all sorts of things, using his imagination. I love the fact that this book words with imagination because in the age we live in, children are more likely to enjoy listening to their ipods that going outside and drawing on the side walk with chalk. This book speaks to a simpler time. The boy just makes a line and ends up drawing a lot of different things. I like this book for K-2 because it is interesting enough to hold the attention and its a book that can be read at their desk.
