A Deadly Assassin Is After The German Chancellor German Intelligence officer Captain Sophie Decker has a reputation for refusing to play by the rules. This has made her enemies in her own service. But when an informant reveals a plot to assassinate the German Chancellor, Decker is assigned to protect the chancellor and kill the assassin. She seems perfect, someone who will do whatever it takes to get the job done. But Decker has never had an opponent like the legendary Scorpion. He is relentless and ruthless, a faceless killer with an almost superhuman ability to disappear without a trace. Wherever he goes, he leaves a trail of dead bodies in his wake. Bringing down the Scorpion will require precision, teamwork, and an ability to finesse the system - skills that a maverick like Decker don't normally use. This time though, Decker's rebelliousness could cost the Chancellor her life.… (mere)

WOW OH WOW! I could hardly read faster enough to keep up with the action, and I'm a SPEED READER! I couldn't help but root for the villain as I wanted him to win as he GREW on me. The Scorpion is relentless and he needs to complete the job for another cool ten million in Euros another cool ten million Euros and then he would vanish as no one knew what he looked like. You have to hand it to Captain Sophie Decker, a deadly female German Intelligent Agent her task is to keep the Chancellor safe, but the Chancellor refused all of her pleas to cancel an appointment....... This is a good quick read. The characters are a bit one dimensional but serve their purpose in the story perfectly. The pace is good, only dragging a little in developing Scorpion's character. The plot is standard with an unusual element. There were a few grammer mistakes but not intrusively so. ( )
