A man with a prison record has no place around a fresh faced college student. Tell that to Rory Prince. He should stay the hell away from Olive Cunningham. There's one small problem, though. She won't stop almost getting killed--and with this too-smart, too-sweet girl holding his heart in her hands, Rory is powerless to do anything but keep saving her. Homeschooled from a young age, Olive is now out on her own and discovering the world, one milkshake flavor at a time. Until recently, she has experienced life through books. She's walked in a million sets of shoes while flipping pages--enough to know that Rory gives her once-in-a-lifetime feelings. If only he would stop trying to protect her...from himself.… (mere)

I enjoyed this, it was a cute and quick read but still very good. Olive was a little naive but lovable and understanding. Rory is a bad boy with a chip on his shoulder but deep down he is just as lovable as Olive. I can’t wait to the next ones. ( )

Tessa Bailey's writing is always a delight, I'm not a fan of insta-love but there are some exceptions. This, unfortunately, wasn't one of them. It also had the most boring alpha male ever written so it's not more than 2/2.5 stars for me. ( )

This is the second book that I have read from this author. It was much different than the first one. While this one was good it did not hold the appeal that the first one did. However, in this case it isn't a bad thing because it shows me that she is versatile in her writing style. This was more of an insta-love book which is hit or miss with me. The brief glimpse in to her her runaway bride story had me hooked. I was devouring it so while this book might not have had the jackpot for me it steered me toward a book That I know will . ( )
