Prince Oleg Konstantinovich, was the son of Grand Duke Konstantin Konstantinovich, the famed "KR" in Russian literary circles. The literary prowess of the father seemed to rub off on the son. A sample of Prince Oleg's poetry is included and is one of the highlights of the book. That being said, this book is more a history of the Konstantinovich branch of the Romanovs. Prince Oleg only lived to his early twenties and there isn't enough information about his life to merit a book exclusively about him. What we have here, though, is a visual treat. Many photographs from this branch of the family are included and make the book worth owning. There are descriptions of the homes that Prince Oleg and his family lived in, the schools he went to, and his time in WWI, where he received his agonizing fatal wound. A good installment in the history of the Romanovs. ( ) ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
