This is a lovely modern interpretation of Persuasion, a novel I haven’t reread in over ten years. So many feels here between Joshua and Finn, and it was honestly heart wrenching for much of it, but I still couldn’t put it down. ( ) I enjoyed this second chance romance quite a lot. The initial breakup is good in that failure to communicate is very common. This is also a slow burn. There's a lot of hurt to get past, and a lot of new data to finally learn/reveal. It's mostly well done, and the supporting cast is very good too. Many people like a meandering slow ending. I don't, I was bored by most of the epilogue. You can't please everyone. :) ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
