Fiction. Romance. Humor (Fiction.) HTML:Most men can't handle Hazel. But her best friend Josh isn't most men. Don't miss New York Times bestselling author Christina Lauren's new novel about two people who are definitely not dating...no matter how often they end up in bed together.
/> Hazel Camille Bradford knows she's a lot to takeâ??and frankly, most men aren't up to the challenge. If her army of pets and thrill for the absurd don't send them running, her lack of filter means she'll say exactly the wrong thing in a delicate moment. Their loss. She's a good soul in search of honest fun.

Josh Im has known Hazel since college, where her zany playfulness proved completely incompatible with his mellow restraint. From the first night they metâ??when she gracelessly threw up on his shoesâ??to when she sent him an unintelligible email while in a post-surgical haze, Josh has always thought of Hazel more as a spectacle than a peer. But now, ten years later, after a cheating girlfriend has turned his life upside down, going out with Hazel is a breath of fresh air.

Not that Josh and Hazel date. At least, not each other. Because setting each other up on progressively terrible double blind dates means there's nothing between them… (mere)

Not sure when but I know I read this last year. Realized today when I read a slight variation on this story by the same author.

It’s a pretty good light romance.

It was okay, but I liked it less than The Unhoneymooners. I thought Hazel was a bit much, and would have liked more time spent on her personality instead of her antics. Charming turned quickly into tedious. ( )

This book is hard to review for me. If I am rating the characters and the first half of the novel, I would give this book a strong four stars. I was really fond of the character and the plot throughout the first half of the book. This book was so laugh out loud funny and I was really captured by the duel POV storytelling in this novel. I also really felt connected to the characters. However the last 100 pages of this novel threw me and I did not love it, I really struggled with the ending. I still am not sure how I feel, but I would give the ending two stars. So I struggled to rate it! But it was a fast pace read for the most part and very funny! ( )
