Fountain Society (udgave 2000)

When I saw this book on the shelf I thought Wes Craven, this HAS to be good. When I read the book I was disappointed and pleasently surprised as well. We all know about Wes Cravens main body of work, but this was definately different. This story is about a secret group of government scientists, led by Peter Jance, who think they have figured out the closest thing to immortality. As Jance's health begins to take a turn for the worse, the super weapon he is creating for the military may die with him. Government corruption, a love triangle, and conspiracy make this a very interesting story. It's hard to describe the story in more depth without messing it up but once you figure out how they have increased the life span of characters involved you begin to unravel the story a bit on your own.
I would definately recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good suspense novel or medical thriller. ( )

I don't recommend this book at all. Wes Craven should stick to the big screen and leave writing for WRITERS who know what they are doing. This book represents 5 hours of my life that I will never get back. ( )
