I have not tried a recipe yet but my son has marked a dozen of them for me. The illustrations alone captured me immediately. ( ) Wonderful book. Well-written, clear directions, beautiful but not intimidating illustrations, very much for the home cook. Everything I've loved in dim sum restaurants is here, a wide variety of dumplings, steamed buns, stuffed eggplant... Dumplings can be a lot of work, for sure, but as the author points out, they also freeze well, so you can collect an assortment of things that way rather than making yourself crazy trying to do many dishes in a day or two. A very pleasant cookbook for a fantasy read, or for those who enjoy sitting down with a friend to put together some trays of tasty little things to eat now and later. Fun with kids too, it's amazing the creative dumpling shapes that will hold together when cooked. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
