One of the books in the Project Code series. All other books in the series are also geared towards scratch creating animation, computer games, and your own story. At first glance there is a lot of text; explanation of music theory and some musical terms, how music and coding are related to one another, sound, mp3, different notes, even user interaction. It’s not until page 13 where the reader can apply scratch. With only 32 pages, where there is a contents page, a glossary, and an index, there are not many projects. This could lead to believe it is a book for lower grades, but with the amount of texts, it wouldn’t surprise the reviewer a lower grade student would not get passed the text to start a project.
This is definitely a book for those who have had more experience with the scratch coding program.
