BreePye | Oct 6, 2023 |   I thought the author took a turn for the better in book 2 of the series and I was actually starting to like some of the supporting characters. By the end of this installment, I still haven't developed a fondness for the main character and the parts that are supposed to be humorous fall flat with me. I also wasn't thrilled with the direction taken in this book. As another reviewer mentioned, book 3 takes off in a whole new direction. Definitely excited to pick the next one up. This series started out all sorts of slow for me but I love that Kade has picked the momentum up book after book. Definitely give it a go! (
