It gets no better than to quote the blurb from this July 1953 impression: 'Thomas is a fussy, cheeky little tank engine who joins his friends, Gordon, Henry and Edward. In the end he proves himself a Really Useful Engine and is given a Branch Line all to himself'. This was well before Beeching. ( ) ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
Belongs to SeriesThe Railway Series (book 2)
Here is the original collection of stories about Thomas in a friendly, new, larger size! First published in 1946, and continuously in print since then, these are the first four of Thomas' many adventures. He cheekily tries to upset Gordon, accidentally leaves his coaches behind, and has a lot of trouble with the Troublesome Trucks, but in the end he learns many lessons about being a Really Useful Engine.
