Its 1845 and the countries having failed to unite in the past are at war. Clara Lissing, is a mechanical genius, there is no machinery that she cannot fix and so she is recruited to help the English in the war. But is all that it seems. There is a cliffhanger at the end.
An enjoyable alternate history story. ( )
