Belongs to SeriesSoul Match (2)
Destiny rewards those who embrace it. Chris and his alien soul matches, Lasar and Nary, are ready to deepen their new bond as mates. It's also time for Chris to begin his training as a Nasha, or sub, and for Nary to embrace his new role as Ahna, or Dom, to Chris. As three in the soul match, they are unique. Not only have Alasharians never matched with a human, they've never matched as three. What makes them special also puts them in danger. The Supreme Soul Healer warned Chris that many changes were ahead, ones even more startling than the original invasion. They must keep their bond a secret until they know who they can trust. As Ahna to both Nary and Chris, Lasar carries the responsibility of protecting his mates. A proud Alasharian warrior and commander, he'll stop at nothing to keep them safe and to help Chris find his missing mother and sisters. To make sure that Chris' cousin Morgan isn't sent back to the slave cages, he's also arranged for a fellow commander to take Morgan into his care when he returns from battle. Lasar and Nary are invited to a pleasure party by the Alasharian's leader, the Nall, and are forced to bring Chris and Morgan. But a terrifying turn of events sets in motion what might be the beginning of the end for them all, unless they can resist the void. No library descriptions found. |

Chris, Nary, and Lasar are freshly bonded and all they want to do is explore this new link between them. They do so enthusiastically, mostly in the bedroom, and with Chris’s questions about BDSM teaching all of them new things. The three of them are scorching together, and with Nary needing to learn to be a Dom for Chris while remaining a sub for Lasar, the situation gets complicated on occasion. But the real problem is not finding balance between the three men – challenging though it may be – it is the fact that the outside world keeps intruding, and not in a good way.
Nary and Lasar want only to protect Chris, but Fate seems to have a different idea. Chris’s role becomes clearer as the story develops, and his role in the coming fight looks like an essential piece of the puzzle. But neither Chris nor his two alien mates have any idea what they’re in for – until the truth hits all of them with surprising violence.
Where the first book set the scene for the battle to come, this second installment is all about finding out more details about who the enemy is, drawing the lines in the sand, and beginning to show what Chris’s role will be. It is a surprise to his two Alasharian mates, but they have had some time to prepare ever since they realized they have actually bonded with a third man and, even more unexpectedly, a human. The other Alasharians have no idea what has begun, except for the allies the triad have begun to discover. The suspense is higher than ever and if you thought the cliff-hanger at the end of book one was bad, let me tell you, the one at the end of this sequel is much, much worse!
If you like your science fiction with overpowering aliens, significant mystery, and slowly unraveling secrets, if a battle of epic proportions is your thing and you like being “eased” into it (if there is such a thing), and if you’re looking for a read that is suspenseful, intriguing, and scorching, then you will probably like this novel. After that cliff-hanger – I can’t wait for the next volume!
