This book is a great example for showing children that to trust in friendships. The koalas friend wanted to play and when koalas tree was falling down they help the koala land safe. This book teaches children to try new things, but also have fun with friends. Friendship is what helps many people try new things. This book is great for ages 2-6 years old. ( )

This book lets students know that they can do anything as long as they put their mind to it.

This is a great book that teaches students that trying new things is sometimes the best thing you can do. This Fantasy adventure picture book is about a Koala bear named Kevin that never leaves the tree he calls home. He misses out on all kinds of opportunities because he never leaves his tree, but one day he finally does and has a wonderful adventure full of events that would of never happened if he had just stayed in his old tree. This book is wonderful for teaching kids that they should try new things to find out what is out their for them to discover. The world is full of things to be discovered, but they would never be found if they never stray from what they normally do every day. ( )

This book is a great book for teaching children that trying new things can be a wonderful adventure. In this book the Koala refuses to leave the tree that he know well and is comforted by. He refuses to join in the activities that other friends are asking of him. Until something unexpected happens and his is involuntarily unlatched from his tree. ( )

A Koala named Kevin has always made his home in a tree, always completing the same routine day after day. He didn't like to try new things, so when animal friends kept asking him to come down and play, it made Kevin wonder about what it might really be like to get down from his tree and play. Would it be fun? Until, that is, he heard a tapping noise of a bird cutting down his tree. Will Kevin be safe down on the ground? Find out what happens to Kevin and his friends! The lessons learned in this book discuss bravery and trying new things.
