Yes it played fast and loose with history and what would have happened but it was also a fun romp of a movie that kept me watching and entertained throughout. Tom Cruise plays Nick Morton, a vaguely immoral scout who theives from archaeological digs whole checking out situations. This time he's fallen on a burried tomb, there are a lot of warnings about the mummy within, and they, and the archaeologist, Jenny Halsey (Annabelle Wallis) rescue the sarcaphogos before the town disappears. Things only get stranger from here and on the way to England the plane crashes and Jenny is apparently the only survivor. Nick wakes in the morgue and things get strange from there. It's pretty predictable but a lot of fun and I enjoyed watching it. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
Thought safely entombed deep beneath the desert, an ancient princess whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day. Her malevolence has grown over millennia and with it come terrors that defy human comprehension. No library descriptions found. |

I found this "reboot" kinda boring. Generally I find Tom Cruise a reliable and watchable actor but I just didn't like him in this film. And the female lead was so colourless as to be practically see through! I'll stick to the 1990s versions thank you. ( )
