"In the characteristic tone of his previous books like You'll Get Through This and Fearless, Max guides readers through this Scripture passage and explains the key concepts of celebration, asking for help, leaving our concerns, and meditating."--Amazon.com. Does the uncertainty and chaos of life keep you up at night? Chances are, you or someone you know seriously struggles with anxiety. Lucado invites readers to delve into Philippians 4:6-7: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. I really enjoyed this book. I was kinda getting discouraged cause our county is being restricted yet again, but this book did help to give me pause and meditate on how I’m responding during this pandemic.

I seemed to seriously need the thoughts and scriptures that were mentioned; I’m glad I had purchased this book though I don’t remember when I did. ( )

I was disappointed in this book. I generally enjoy Max Lucado, but this one just fell flat. ( )

I love Lucado's writing; all of his books are easy to read. This one is very good. Did I take everything I read to heart? Not really since the coronavirus thing has hit. It's a book I may revisit in the future. ( )
