El autor relata y analiza el populismo y su nacimiento luego del fracaso de los fascismos, como una forma autoritaria pero que en principio respeta los límites de la democracia, analiza los primeros populismos que nacieron en la periferia (argentina con Perón y otros latinoamicanismos) para luego analizar las formas europeas y hasta trump muy completa bibliografía, y deja abierto el debate sobre el deslizamientos de estos populismos tanto de derecha como de izquierda con el peligro de salirse del sistema y terminar como dictaduras ( )
