I was thoroughly thrilled with "Zombie Theorem, Book Two" by James Wallace and found that it was just as difficult to put the book down as the first book in this series. The journey of Brian, Dan, his rescued fiancé, and the Swat Team continues as the team continues to find a way north to Dan's father's farm in Washington. San Francisco has fallen and the team finds it harder and harder to find a safe passage without having to fight hordes of zombies and others who try to prey upon the team.

During their travels, the team discovers that the "Culling Initiative" were experimenting on civilians and testing antidotes against the virus and using zombies to their benefit as they march against the remaining population. The team soon comes upon Brian's former commander who is now a General and charged with destroying those responsible. They provide assets and soldiers to help the team reach Dan's former home.

En-route, the team finds most of Oregon and Washington State free of zombies and those not infected. They continued in their trek to the farm and try to make sense of it all. The team discovers a completely empty military base with aircraft, vehicles, food, water and ammunition. It is as if the base was vacated. There's no blood, damage, fires, or rotting smells - everybody just disappeared! The General sends pilots to fly the planes and others to support the team in their trek. They soon find survivors and reach the farm...only it's too quiet! This doesn't last long before the team, who are now joined by a group of Navy Seals will be attacked by an organized assault. It doesn't look like any will survive. I'm already looking to purchase book three.

Another great read Mr. Wallace! Highly recommended.
