I really enjoyed this romantic suspense. I received this book for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 5* rating. This grabbed my attention from the first and kept me coming back for more. Though I didn't have as much time to read as I wanted, it's the only reason it took me so long to get it read. I really fell in love with the characters and enjoyed their time together. Rocks can make a good weapon it seems. Need to read more of her books. Not for the under 18 readers. ( )

Hot Velocity by Elle James

4th in the series. By far the best of the books. Can be read as a standalone although the whole series is worth reading.
A fast paced thrilling conclusion.
And wow. Sierra is a warrior! Definitely a woman who doesn't just stand on the sidelines. My favorite of the entire cast. You go girl!

Excerpt:
"T-Rex set the two cases on the wooden floor and turned. "Welcome to McCall house."
Sierra giggled. "You don't look like a bellboy, but I appreciate the help." She reached her hand into her purse and dug around. "What do you require in the way of a tip?"
He laid his hands on her arm. "No money. Just this." Before he could stop to question his motives, he lifted her chin with the tip of his finger and claimed that kiss he'd been thinking about since she'd left him at the community center. One quick, toe-curling kiss. That was all he wanted and he'd be out of her way.
