Summary: A young princess is very conceited and will not take any suitor to be her husband. So her father, who is fed up with her attitude, says that he will have her marry the next beggar who comes to the door. And she does. Through this experience she learns how to be humble and work for what she has. In the end of the story the princess learns that the beggar she has married is actually a king and that this was all done to teach her to be humble. ( )
