I didn't think he'd be able to top volume 2, but I was wrong. I highly recommend the Floodgate series to anyone who enjoys poetry and/or wants to explore new-to-them poets.

Northern Corn (Anders Carlson-Wee & Kai Carlson-Wee):
Each poem was like a captivating mini story. It made me think of old barns, driving through rural areas, wheat fields, and summer. Some of them reminded me some [a:Ray Bradbury|1630|Ray Bradbury|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1445955959p2/1630.jpg]'s writing (ex: [b:Dandelion Wine|50033|Dandelion Wine (Green Town, #1)|Ray Bradbury|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1374049845s/50033.jpg|1627774]).

Begotten (F. Douglas Brown & GeoffreyDavis):
Split into 3 sections. I was particularly fond of the first, which felt like love letters to family and fatherhood (the good and the bad). Knowing that these are conversations with each other about fatherhood makes these poems even more touching.

Driving through the animal (Enid Shomer):
Enid does beautiful things with words that make my heart sing. I especially loved the poems about nature and was in love with her work immediately. ( )
