You won't find any dull moments in this one! Melinda Leigh does an excellent job of building enough suspense, action, and mystery to keep the pages turning! Highly recommended. I'm reserving a full review when Mystery Thriller Week begins. (

I didn't realize this was part of a series (Midnight) before I started reading it. I don't think it was a problem that I didn't read the the three previous books first. Now I have three new books to read!!

At first I found the book to be a little slow, but then it picked up and I couldn't wait to get to the ending to find out the identity of the the viking obsessed killer. I had my suspicions about the killer, but I was wrong. The ending was not what I expected, especially when Louisa went to visit someone who actually encouraged the killer.

Louisa and her father are experts on all things viking related living in Philadelphia. Her father goes missing after receiving a disturbing package in the mail. The police discover bodies that are arranged in viking rituals. Throw in some gang activity and more dead bodies. Louisa is desperate to find her father along with her boyfriend Conor. The killer not only has an obsession with vikings but also Louisa.
