Absolutely beautiful poetry book with remarkably attractive watercolor and pencil illustrations depicting birds, nature, wildlife, a river, and the brook itself. The book presents a group of verses from Tennyson's longer poem, "The Brook." This book teaches students about the eternal face of nature juxtaposed with the transience and ephemeral nature of human activities and lives. The brook passes through many landscapes in a timeless flow. It travels and flows on "forever." The words are phrased in rhythms that imitate the sounds of moving water as it flows, and the book contains a short glossary of unfamiliar and unusual terms at the end. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
