Be Who You Are is a Todd Parr book that continues to teach us about diversity and the importance of it. It's a very powerful book that teachers children to like who they are no matter what color, how you dress or what kind of family you have, the important thing is to love yourself! It's very short in text, but has enough pages that make the diversity statement in a wide range of forms. Children love this book and makes them feel proud of who they are. I recommend this book for children ages 2-8. ( )

"Be Who You Are" by Todd Parr is a colorful book that teaches kids that being different is okay and that the world needs them to be who they are. I think that this is a powerful book that encourages kids to celebrate their uniqueness instead of trying to hide it. This book has a simple yet profound statement which is to love yourself the uniqueness of those around you. ( )

I love this book. It talks about just owning who you are. it has some funky illustrations which are eye catching and also non specific. There are no specific comments on gender or race, which is nice too. I would use this book for ages 4-10 years old. ( )

This book is about embracing differences. It talks about how it is okay to be a different color or speak a different language. It encourages children to just be who they are!
