I like this book because it was cute for children. ( )

I remember being read this story when I was in first grade. It's about three little pigs and a big bad wolf who is trying to eat the pigs. In this re-tell the first little pig builds his house out of straw, the second little pig builds his out of sticks, and the third little pig builds his house out of bricks. The wolf is following them and trying to get invited into their houses when that doesn't work he blows the first pig house down and he is sent running to the second pig house. When the wolf blows the second pig house down they run to the third pigs house. When he can't blow the house down made of bricks he then attempts to trick the little pigs out of the house, but the pigs outsmart him. Finally, when the wolf tries to come down the chimney, he burns his tale and ran off howling. The illustrations in this book are really cute, the pigs are holding on to the edge of the page, this story could be told without any words. ( )

This book is a classic. I used this book to help teach folk tales while doing my bookshare. This is a really good book and has all the aspects of folk tales. I also think this is a good book to do comparison and contrasting with because there are so many different versions of the book. Overall, this was a really good book. ( )

This is a story about three little pigs, they build different home to try and keep the big bad wolf out. This could be used in the classroom to teach problem solving skills and repetition in stories. I would use this story for almost any age level. ( )

This version of this story was much different from the story I was told as a child. This version recounted them playing with friends and the notorious wolf did not come into the story until much later. This is still such a great story that focuses on family and resilience, ( )
