"New York Times bestselling author Jasinda Wilder presents the conclusion to Madame X's erotic saga of discovery. My name is Madame X. My heart is torn in two. And now I have to choose Caleb is everything to her: lover, caretaker, the man who gave her life meaning when she had none. But as she seeks the truth about herself and her past, she discovers that unravelling Caleb's web of lies might very well be impossible. Logan is everything she never knew she wanted: freedom, joy, and a passion she couldn't anticipate. But is Logan's love enough to save her from herself, from Caleb, and from the tumultuous truth of her past? Caught between two equally compelling and seductive men, X must make the ultimate choice. But there's more at stake than just her heart."-- No library descriptions found. |

Okay so while I am glad we FINALLY got some information, a definite decision and a knocked up, uh I mean knock out sucker punch the book as a whole left me feeling...well...flat.
I wasn't happy when she finally decided on how she could have the courage to stand up to Caleb/Jakop and tell him NO. I knew she was going to do it because well, Logan is her HEA. But the fact that even in the moment she wavered for a split second....really? Enough with the angst, you love Logan and decided he is the one you can't live without stop friggin' second guessing yourself.
Memories coming back. Good to know she had loving parents. I knew C/J had more to do with her in the past than he had let on but really....1/3 of the way and I just knew
Okay....a one in a million chance and it just happens to be in the cards for Isabel? Seriously? Felt too convenient. And Logan's reaction....oh hell this man is just too damn perfect for this world. He sort of felt rage and wanted revenge but knew no good could come of it....Nope, not buying it. Whatever, I'm over it, time to move on. Yes, taking a page out of Logan's playbook and just shrugging it off...again.
I'm done with the series so that's good. I enjoyed the first book, the second was a little trying but this one....left me feeling, dissatisfied for lack of a better word. Onward and upward. May Isabel and Logan live happily ever after. ( )
