I'm not a big fan of Greeley. He's a big bully, there's no honor in being a bully. But if Merritt can put up with him, who am I to complain. It took me a bit to get into this book because I couldn't digest Greely's behavior, but I did understand where he was coming from. I'm just not the type to hold on to such extreme grudges. Anyhow, this is a raw and gritty story about returning to your roots and discovering that is where you truly belong.

Devils Honor is an intense, suspenseful, sensual and of course downright sexy adventure. Greeley is magnificent with his hard, possessive, yet caring personality and he has the patience of a saint. Merritt is a smart, sassy and confused woman who has made her share of mistakes and is paying for them dearly. These two, together with the people of the bayou and the brothers of the MC, create a deluge of personalities that keep it interesting and un-put-downable!

If you like total alpha badass outlaw bikers, then this is your book. It felt like at times Greeley was a little too alpha, but then he'd turn around and do something sweet for Merritt. Well, sweet by Greeley standards. I'm really interested in where these guys are going with their club, since we left things a little up in the air. Looking forward to seeing how it's all going to play out.

Start of a new MC series by Megan Crane. LaGrange Louisiana is a dark town ruled by corrupt politicians and the Devil's Keepers Motorcycle Club. Merritt is the daughter of a Doctor who wants her to escape the life in LaGrange. Greeley Shaw is the bad boy biker who has a summer of passion with Merrit that leads to a separation of five years. Would have liked a bit more dialogue and not as much flowery description. All issues are not resolved by the end of the book leading to the next installment.
