Pero ha llegado el verano de los cambios y sus vidas, de pronto, van a cruzarse. Porque Suzy y Lloyd, este verano, van a formar parte del programa de intercambio de su empresa y además de puestos de trabajo, van a intercambiar vivienda, quedando claro muy pronto que, además de extraños, son radicalmente distintos. This was a cute read. If you're looking for a romantic comedy that doesn't require too much brainpower and will make you smile, this is a good one. It switches off by chapter between the points of view of Suze and Lloyd, our heroine and hero each in different cities, and occasionally also of Betsy, Lloyd's fiance (gasp!). You pretty much know where it's going to end up, but it's about the journey, which was very enjoyable. I sometimes got a little confused between the characters (there are two cities' worth), but otherwise no complaints. ( )

A quick read and a fun chick-lit book. Like most of Sisman's books, if your looking for a weekend read, this is it. ( )

The Amazon reviewers tended to be harsher with this book than I want to be. I thought it was a fun, light, entertaining chick lit read, a worthy addition to any beach bag. Suze, a London native, and Lloyd, a NYC resident, are strangers until they "swap" jobs in a promotional stunt of their advertising company. Suze and Lloyd seem like total opposites at first: Suze is free-spirited, wild, and untidy, while Lloyd is quiet and controlled. But then Lloyd gets fired, and Suze discovers that it's a plot by some of his coworkers. As Lloyd and Suze work together to clear his name, they soon find that they have more in common than they thought. As I said, I really enjoyed this book. Yes, it's chick lit, and thus there's automatically an element of cliche. But I think Sisman is a good writer: I cared about her characters, I was rooting for them to get together, and there were some scenes that raised this book above the ordinary, in my opinion. I'd recommend it for a good vacation read.
