This book is simple and beautiful. It teaches children that change isn't always the best option. Everyone should be grateful for what they have. ( )

This book will help students to realize that some people may view things differently if they haven't even seen it before. It makes them think about what they already know, and how other people can be misled by what they hear.

This was a cute book that dealt with animals and how they live on a farm or in a city. The book is about a chicken name Henry and a cat named Lucy always talks about the country so Henry finally gets annoyed and goes for a look. While on her way she meets lots of animals who kind of help her on her way. Once she gets to the farm she remembers what Lucy said all the animals were like. She gets pigs and horses confused, while she was there she saw the chicken coop. This was not the way Henry wanted to live. At the chicken coop she gets hit with corn and lays an egg. She finds her way to a truck heading to the city. She makes it back to the city and finds Alex her owner. She never wants to live in the country. After she returns, Lucy asked what she thought, at the end of the book it shows Lucy and Henry going into outer space.

Henry the chicken lives in a coop in the city. One day a cat tells him that chickens are supposed to live in the country. Henry decides to go visit the country and see all of the farm animals that the cat told him about. When he gets there he is very confused, and he decides that the country is not the place for him. He is definitely a city chicken.
