It was a cute story - an old house covered with snow, a group of really nice children, two dogs and a mystery; a bit old-fashioned, but I enjoyed it a lot. ( )

Really liked this book when I was a kid. Found it again a few years ago and bought it as a keepsake.

This book is a gem. it really captures the feeling of snow and playing in it and watching it come down. Also it is a witty entry in a genre of kid's books that can often be too dull. I re-read this book. it is perfect for a rainy afternoon. ( )
