Tilegnelse |
Oplysninger fra den engelske Almen Viden Redigér teksten, så den bliver dansk. I would like to extend a special thank-you to my daughter, Linda, for convincing me to write about my childhood. She played the right chord when she said, "Mom, if not for me, do it for your grandchildren." Her help and inspiration were endless once I started. Ths book was written with a smiling heart full of love for my grandchildren: David, Kristin, Kelly, Alexi, Amie, and Stephanie. | |

We are used to immigrant stories from the 1800's, but Irene immigrated in 1947. This book provides short chapters about events as she was growing up on an island fishing community in Norway. I like the night skiing, with the snowy evergreens looking like trolls. ( )
