This is not a new book per se, but rather a collection of speeches, writings, and other statements made by Pope Francis. Jesus, discipleship, mercy, and a variety of other topics make up this quick little book.

I do enjoy Pope Francis' writings very much and have picked up most of his books. He is not a scholarly writer, like his predecessor was, but rather he speaks directly to the people which is why I believe he has the popularity he does.

I enjoyed this collection of essays, but I do have to admit that of the books written by Pope Francis, I do wish there would be a few more original writings around one theme, rather than these collections of previously written items. They are great to have in one place and this is a fine collection. I just wish for a bit more.

I recommend that this is a good one to pick up from the library. It has some great lines, but you can grab most of the book from the Internet.
