I bought this mostly for the complete text of Turn of the Screw, which I admit I've never read, and the selections from the travel writing. There is a large selection of very pleasing correspondence and criticism. I was disappointed by the absence of selections from the novels, of which there are only 1-3 page snippets. A good introduction to James, though, and enough text to make sure one never tries to take on Wings of a Dove. ( )
