At the end of Ruin and Rule, Cleo was taken captive by the Dagger Rose MC run by Arthur "Kill" Killian's brother and father. Both want to hurt Kill in any way that they can, the best way being through Cleo. While Cleo is held captive, Kill puts a plan in action that has been years in the making, all the while trying to overcome the effects of the serious concussion his father gave him with a baseball bat when kidnapping Cleo. Along with the rest of the Pure Corruption MC and the mysterious Wallstreet, Kill is determined to get Cleo back and make his father and brother pay for the things they have done.
As with the previous book in this series, the story is baffling. Arthur continues to keep secrets from Cleo even after promising to tell her everything. Part of the story is about Arthur's need for extreme vengeance, but at the same time, planning to make sweeping change in what he calls our corrupt government. Cleo's suspicions about Wallstreet are never really realized, but could have made an interesting plot twist. Overall, the plot is preposterous and the characters woefully underdeveloped - not recommended. ( )

If your memories are gone do you think you’d still recognize your soul mate even if he has changed so much from the man you originally knew? If you thought the only women you’d ever loved was dead and you went on to become a man of vengeance leading a MC club what would you do when you found out she was still alive yet your the reason her whole life changed.

This is a dark tale of a love that was derailed by an evil man against his own son. That's a little piece of my review from the first book Ruin & Rule that ends in a huge cliffhanger.

Sin & Suffer picks up where Ruin and Rule ended – no having to wait to find out what happened.

Through out all of the first book and almost half of this book you believe this is story about two people who grew up in the MC life and both had suffered horribly because of it. Arthur (Kill) is now the president of a new MC and his need for revenge against is father seems to be what drives him. He has finally been reunited with his soul mate and childhood love Cleo Price (aka Sarah Jones) and she has most of her memories back now. Cleo knows she loves Arthur but she is confused as to the man he is today. Some of the nerdy mathematician is still in their but he is also keeping secrets from her. We as the reader were also kept in the dark as to what the “real” plans were that he and Wallstreet had devised while they were in prison together.

I have to say that when the true plan was revealed it wasnt a good “Oh I didnt see that coming” moment. It was weird and didnt really fit into what the first book and half of this one lead you to believe it was really about.

What I did like was two people that had met as young children knew even at a young age they were soul mates. Life threw them a horrible curve ball which separated them with one having amnesia and not remembering the other and the other one thinking she was dead and not knowing how to function without his other half and deciding vengeance was his only avenue.

So bottom line they finally find each other again and Kill takes care of those that harmed and wronged them and they live happily ever after – just not exactly how I thought they would be living that HEA but it all worked out in the end I guess. ( )

I couldn't wait to find out about what would happen next in Cleo and Kill's life. The cliff hanger from Ruin & Rule just wasn't fair to my poor heart. The wait was just too much to bear. It felt like forever before I was able to read the next part of their journey.

And now that I have my heart can rest in peace.

I enjoyed were the author took there story, even thou I felt that the middle of the story fall a little flat. There was a section there that was more just a filler and I could have done without it, but I still read it all. I just didn't want to miss anything I case it was important latter on in the story.

I was so happy to see that Cleo and Kill got more than just their happy ending. They deserved after everything that life has put them through. ( )
