Rabbit loves carrots. Maybe a little too much. In fact, his carrots are crowding him out of his cozy burrow. When his friends offer to help - that's just asking for trouble. TOO much trouble! Rabbit keeps hoarding up carrots, to the point that there is no longer room left in his house for him! When he asks for help from his friends, things only go for bad to worse as he hauls more and more carrots around with him each time he stays at a friend's house. How will the animals ever survive?

This short and sweet picture book shows that friendship and sharing ultimately win the day. There's also a subtler message about not being gluttonous. This could work nicely in a preschool classroom setting or a library storytime in addition to a one-on-one reading. The illustrations are nicely done and match the text while adding a little more. Rabbit hoards carrots. He runs out of room in his house then destroys the homes of many of his generous friends. He finally realizes that sharing his carrots with his friends is better than saving them and that sharing them with his friends makes it even better. The illustrations are colourful and vibrant and have a lot in them to look at and talk about. The lesson learned is something that children will be able to relate to and give advice to rabbit as you read aloud to them individually or in a group. A great book for any family or classroom library.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. ( )

This book is about a little bunny who has found himself buried deep in the carrots that he collected. These carrots overrun his house, so he finds himself asking his friends for help. ( )

Rabbit had too many carrots in his rabbit hole and must move him, but he still wants to keep all of them. He asks his friends if he could keep some in their homes and to help him find other places where he can put them. In the end they make different things witht the carrots and have a picnic together in his rabbit hole

his is a delightful tale of rabbit, who loves carrots, so much that he cannot help but hoard them and pack them away for fear there will be a day when there are no more carrots.

They are shoved into every nook and cranny of his home. He has no where to move, no where to sleep. Homeless, his friends come to his rescue

wWhen his friends try to help, alas, he brings his carrots with him, and all too soon, disaster follows.

In the end, rabbit learns a lesson about consequences and learns about destructiveness and embarrassment of his out of control behaviors.
