Okay, we get it -- something awful happened at a barbecue. But get on with it! Stop dropping hints and tell me what happened! Whatever the problem, the pacing was very annoying and no way the final reveal could live up to all that dramatic build-up. Characters were wimpy, self-centered and not at all likeable, except Vid and Tiffany (and to a certain extent Harry). My favorite part of the book was Whisk. Such a cute, original character. Love it!
