Young Reader Reaction: I fully expected to hear "this is a baby book," but I did not. My preteen spent hours with this book. She wasn't as interested in looking for the red dot as she was playing with the pages and figuring out how they were constructed.

Adult Reader Reaction: This is a wonderful book for exploring with a young child. Where other books let you ask questions about what's happening on the page, with One Red Dot the kids can play with the book to find the answer.

Pros: Toddlers to teens will enjoy playing with this simple, interactive journey of a red dot.

This fun pop book challenges the reader to find the one red dot throughout the paper sculptures of the book.

I love David Carter's books! This book is a pop up and so much fun to read! Each page is a new adventure in search of one red dot. I love all of his exciting pop ups and this one was just as great as the others.

Try to find the dot! A great way to get kids to really love books. I always loved pop up books and was taught to be very careful with them, but I can see where it would be difficult to use in an actual classroom. IT would probably get busted in no time. But for kids who are reluctant to like books, this one would probably get their attention. I enjoyed the pop-ups myself. ( )

This book is amazing. I would say that children and adults alike will be highly entertained by the design of this book, not to mention the game of finding the red dot.
