Love is My Favorite Thing is about an adorable dog named Plum who claims love is her favorite thing. She also loves water, her bed, tug-a-war, ice cream, and lots of other things. One day she does many bad things that get her into time out and sent to her bed. She wonders if her owners are still going to love her. She knows she has done many bad things but doesn't want them to stop loving her. At the end of the day they come to see Plummie and they let her know they do love her but she needs to behave. It was an adorable ending and it shows a great lesson for children or just people in general. If you misbehave, there will be consequences for your actions but no matter what, your family will always love you. Plum learned that lesson in the story. The illustrations in the story were done perfectly and showed the characters facial expressions well. I think children would definitely enjoy this book. ( ) This book is about a dog named Plum and how love is her favorite thing. She loves her bed, treats, her owners, and many other things. One day, her owner, Emma, takes her out for a walk in the park. Plum gets herself into trouble when she jumps into the pond when Emma tells her not to. Emma gets upset with Plum and immediately brings her home. Later on, Plum causes more issues like accidentally ripping pillows apart and stealing purses. When this happens, her owners decide that they will make Plum sleep by herself for awhile, which makes Plum question their love. They come back shortly after to tell Plum they love her and that they will as long as she's a "good girl." She promises to be one and the story ends happily. This story is a good way for young children to learn about how there are consequences for negative actions. It also teaches children that even though a negative action happens, it doesn't mean that the people close to them will not love them the same as before. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
