Love how Allison is so accepted by Sarah’s Amish family, and her Grandmother seems to adore her, but this story is really Sarah’s.
Sarah grew up with her Amish family and lots of friends nearby, particularly Aaron King, he was the one she had wanted to marry. Now she is considered an old maid in her community, she is in her thirties, and when now widower Aaron returns to his family with his two young daughters, she hopes.
This story includes horrific barn fires, there is a sever drought in the area, and someone is taking advantage of the situation, but why? Then who ever are doing this thinks Sarah knows who this person is, and her life becomes in danger.
There is a side story about missing quilts, and a mystery of where a very valuable one is. Yes, Sarah and Allison run a quilt shop, and another challenge is presented and they accept it head on.
What do barn fires and missing quilts have to do with each other, you are about to find out, and we hope it is in time to stop the fires and save Sarah’s life. We continue with Allison’s romance and hope for a new one with Sarah and Aaron, if only he will recognize what he is missing.
Don’t miss this one, although it is the second book, it can be read alone, a real page-turner.
